This torma stand is collapsible and intended for traveling. The three legs are riveted and swing together to make it easy to transport. It stands at about 1 ft in height (30 cm).
The stand is made of iron with inlaid gold and silver. This style of metalwork is a speciality of Dergye in Kham. The skulls at the top of the legs indicate that it would be used in a ceremony to support a torma connected with wrathful practice.
