According to the Nyingma gTérmas there are four effectuations of liberation: thondröl (mthong grol – liberation on seeing); thödröl (thos grol – liberation on hearing); takdröl (brTags grol – liberation on wearing); and myangdröl (myang grol – liberation on tasting).
The tube of the takdröl contains a takdröl text of the Düd’jom gTér lineage, provided by Lama Yeshé Dorje Rinpoche who initially empowered the takdröl in a protector rite connected with Tröma Nakmo – Lama Yeshé Dorje Rinpoche’s main practice.
