Ngakpa A’jam Rinpoche is a yogi of the Longchen Nying-thig lineage. He wears his avowed un-cut hair in the Zur phud yogic style, and wears the red, white, and blue robes of the gö-kar-chang-lo’idé. Like many Ngak’phang Lamas, Ngakpa A’jam Rinpoche is a master of rituals which are performed for the benefit of others. Although he is a profound teacher, his advice is frequently sought out by ordinary people who need help in their lives. He spends his life in semi-open retreat. Like most ngakpas, he is a family man with children, who integrates every aspect of his life with practice. Ngak’chang Rinpoche received Dzogchen transmissions from Ngakpa A’jam Rinpoche in 1981 and 1982 on the nature of Mind.
